Ready to finish strong!

As expected with all projects, we recently hit some roadblocks.  After some good conversations over the past week, and we are ready to finish strong!  I'll be pitching in with some coding as well, which will make things interesting :).  Check out slides from our meeting here.

New Update!

So this week, I have spent a large majority learning the basics of block properties, item drops from blocks and also block spawning. I have successfully created block drops and generated real blocks into the game!

Finished Version 1 of the minecraft forum thread with Ryan. We got a lot done including a logo for our player head. We still need to add more pictures though.

Stem mod Progress- I've been making items and blocks. Need to find a way to rename them and give them a function though.

Getting Started!

After a few weeks, the team has officially finalized what our mod wants to do!

I have started by creating a custom tab in mincraft to put all our items and blocks in the game.

Week 2 Progress

Throughout this week I have been able to solve most if not all my previous problems. At first I tried to rewrite the code from scratch, then I remade the workspace and tried numerous other problems. Eventually I decided to reinstall everything which seemed to work.

I rewrote everything, and everything seemed to be fine. But now I ran into the problem in which when I run the program it launches Minecraft and then everything suddenly crashes. Now my mod does not appear in the Mod List in Minecraft Forge and I'm stuck on trying to fix that.



I also interviewed people for the MVP with a PowerPoint. First I interviewed a friend who is not into any kind of gaming and then I interviewed a friend who's into gaming, but not Minecraft and his 8 year old younger brother who is obsessed with Minecraft.
